Derbyshire Squash is pleased to be offering all Derbyshire Clubs a Referee Workshop in May 2020.This should be of interest to new or experienced players and particularly those in the Derbyshire Leagues where marking is required.It is a great opportunity for Adults and Juniors to get a basic level of understanding in Refereeing the game and for those wanting to progress as a Referee, this is a basic requirement.
The referee workshop includes:
instruction by a qualified England Squash referee instructor, basic knowledge & interpretations of the rules, practical decision making, preparation for the referees exam* (not mandatory) *exams taken by post/email within 2 months
candidate requirements:
Some knowledge of squash and the rules, good eyesight & hearing (may be corrected) juniors under 16 may attend and can qualify as a junior referee
The Course is being run on Sunday 17th May 11:00-15:30 by England Squash at Ashbourne Squash Club.The cost is £10/£3 Adults/Juniors. Non-members welcome.Places are limited!
