Summer League Squash – latest update
Fixtures are now available. Division 1 and 3 start this week. Some matches will be rearranged due to KO Cup. Please check your fixtures and let me know of any errors. Note the divisions where fixtures overlap with the start of the winter league will need to rearrange these throughout the summer.
Draycott have withdrawn from division 2 in summer league (Tuesday 24 April).
Squash Divisions are :
Division 1 : Ashbourne 1, Burton 1, Duffield 1, Lumb Farm 1, The Manor, Repton
Division 2 : Brampton Manor, David Lloyd, Draycott, Duffield 2, Duffield 3, Lumb Farm 2, Rolls-Royce
Division 3 : Burton 2, Duffield 4, Hood Park 1, King Edward VI, LA Fitness, Queens Park, Sandiacre Friesland
Division 4 : Alfreton, Ashbourne 2, Bradley House, Burton 3, Duffield 5, Duffield 6, Hood Park 2, Bradley House 2
Division 1 and 3 start fixtures Thursday 25 April.
PSL – Benz Bavarian Duffield – message from Felix Frixou
Dear Derbyshire PSL Supporters,
Following our win against Exeter last week, I am extremely proud to confirm our position within PSL and we are now to play in the Final on Tuesday 7th May 2013 against Surrey. The match is to be played atNottingham Squash Club and commences at 7pm. This last match of the season looks possibly to be the strongest team that Duffield will field on the night, in the history of PSL. Surrey have won the PSL final for the last four times!!!
I am sure all Derbyshire fans will be offering the greatest of support to the BBD Team; Nick Matthew, Karim Ali Fathi, Joel Hinds, Andy Whipp and Laura Massaro. First Reserve Aqeel Rehman.
Please note that although we have received an allocation of 70 tickets, these will be much sought after and due to the tight timescale pre the match, they will go on a ‘first come, first serve’ basis. Grand Prix Round 5 of 6 at Brampton Manor on Sunday 28 April
The next event (Round 5 of 6) will now be played at Brampton Manor on Sunday 28th April 2013. If your son/daughter had entered the postponed event and wishes to be re-entered for this one please let Helen Wilson know, by email or by filling in the entry form attached and posting it to me(not by text!). Helen will not automatically assume you wish your child to be entered! If you would like your son/daughter to be entered but hadn’t entered the postponed event please return the entry form, with a cheque to Helen.
The final Prize Giving event, Round 6, will now be held at Ilkeston Manor (due to refurbishment of the courts at Brampton Manor) on Sunday 2 June. Entry forms for that will be available after Round 5!
