Ecclesbourne School Squash Team played host to Manchester Grammar School in the second round of the National Schools Squash Championships. In stage one Ecclesbourne overcame Lincoln Minister School, Brookfield School, Colonel Frank Seeley School and Sir John Gleed School. The squad faced tough opposition in the second round against previously unbeaten Manchester Grammar School. Ecclesbourne had home advantage and the event held at Duffield Squash Club featured some excellent and exciting matches with Ecclesbourne coming out eventual winners 4-1. A fantastic achievement by all those who have represented the school in this tie and in the previous matches in this tournament namely Oliver Lowe, Molly Tomlinson, Henry Jacobs, Oliver Johnston, Harry Salisbury and Tom Blenkinsop. The finals will be held at the National Squash Centre Manchester on the 11th March 2015.
